Headache Solutions

Chicago Headache Center and Research Institute provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of all types of headaches, including migraine, new daily persistent headache, post-traumatic headache, tension-type headache, cluster headache, and facial pain.

We recommend a multidisciplinary approach to headache management, which often includes – in addition to medication – complementary modalities such as physical therapy, massage therapy, stress management, and nutritional counseling.

As of January 1, 2027 we will only offer telemedicine visits for those living in the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

As part of my recent initial treatment, he made a follow-up call -- a rarity among today's medical providers -- the following day to ensure my recovery. His high standards extend to staff, including Anne. After she brought me to the examination room during the previously mentioned appointment, Anne dimned the light to ease my dizziness. Headaches We Help Treat

Migraines

Migraine headaches can be painful, causing nausea and / or vomiting, light / sound sensitivity & more.

Tension Headaches

This is the most common type of headache often caused by stress and muscle tension.

Cluster Headaches

Cluster headaches can last anywhere from a week to several months and return every year.

How It Works

Our evaluation of new patients involves a detailed history and neurologic evaluation, with additional workup such as specialized imaging or lab work as needed.
